Those who are somewhat savvy about Swagbucks already know the basics of how to earn Swagbucks points through searches, surveys, etc. (If not, see my post on Swagbucks basics.) But I’ve recently discovered several ways to pile on the Swagbucks earnings. You may learn something new, too, from this post about ways to add to your Swagbucks tally!
If you decide to sign up for Swagbucks, please use the link in this paragraph. I will then be able to earn a percentage of the Swagbucks you earn at no cost or effort on your part. And thank you if you do!
First, make sure you’re searching through Swagbucks instead of Google. Swagbucks uses the Yahoo! search engine that will give you the same results as Google. I’ve been using it exclusively for years.
Easy “Watch” Opportunity
This first tip is not available every day, so when I see this WATCH banner at the top of my search screen, I click on it.
You’ll be directed to a quick series of 8 videos that will earn you 5 quick Swagbucks. This activity checks the “Daily Watch” box in your Swagbucks To-Do List on the Swagbucks home screen.
Earn Swagbucks through Swago
Another way to earn Swagbucks is through a bingo-style game called SWAGO. This activity is offered approximately twice a month. Look for a banner like this:
Or find Swago on the Swagbucks home page:
You check off boxes by doing the activity stated in the box. Activities include:
- Clicking on a box that brings you to a store’s website
- Taking surveys
- Redeeming Swag Codes
- Entering contests (that cost Swagbucks)
- Buying gift cards
- And many more
Here’s my advice for Swago: Check to the right of the Swago board and determine which column or row is your goal, depending on which activities you’re willing to do. I personally have never purchased a gift card, which always seems to be the center box. I’m content with earning 10, 20, or even 2 points. I’m not willing to spend more Swagbucks to enter a contest than I’ll earn for filling out the row or column.
When you complete a row or column, it will be highlighted on the right side. (Refresh the screen if you need to.) Then you can submit and earn the points.
Team Challenge
The only tricky part here is to enter the team challenge. Team challenges are offered approximately twice per month. You’ll find Team Challenge listed on the Swagbucks home page, same as Swago.
Once you enter, you’re assigned to a team. Earn points like you normally would (earn above a minimum number to be eligible for a prize) and receive a Swag Up prize at the end of the contest.
Swag Ups will earn you things like savings off of gift cards you redeem or extra points on surveys. My Swag Up below is offering me 20% more points on any survey I take.
Earn Swagbucks through Shoply
And now the grand-daddy of all earning opportunities that I’ve found: Shoply!
Earn as many as 1,000 Swagbucks in a single purchase!
Add the app called Shoply to your phone.
Search for store-specific offers and earn Swagbucks for items you buy.
To earn the Swagbucks, upload your receipt to the Shoply app. Your points are credited immediately.
Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. This means if you click on the link and sign up for Swagbucks, I will receive referral points at no extra cost to you. All opinions remain my own.
